The Highly Anticipated Update Includes 3 New PvE Missions, a Player-Centric Balance Update, FoV Slider and More
Irvine, Calif. – KOG Games, a leading developer and publisher of popular free-to-play action MMORPGs, has announced that on October 10th, 2019, they will be adding their first, heavy-hitting, heal and support Karma Weapon, ‘Sacred Guardian’ in KurtzPel.
Like all Karma (weapons) in KurtzPel, players must interact with the respective NPC to unlock the weapon. The Sacred Guardian Karma is provided by Lime. For KOG fans, the character Lime is easily recognized as the cute, heavy-hitting, Paladin-styled, hammer wielding ingénue from their cult-classic game Grand Chase. The ‘Sacred Guardian’ Karma will be a massive game changer. It’s the first weapon that allows players to enact the “Support” role. Beyond hitting like a truck (which is pure PvP catharsis personified), this includes healing, resurrection and projectile deflection.
The ‘Sacred Guardian’ can be purchased through the Steam shop or by the free, in-game method: collecting enough Chase Points (CP) and Ability Points (AP) to purchase the Karma in-game.
The ‘Sacred Guardian Starter Pack’ unlocks the three missions related to Lime in the mission map. After completing the missions, players can play to receive additional rewards, such as costumes, Karma Crystals, and more depending on their affinity with the NPC, Lime.
Not only will they be introducing the all new, game-changing Karma, the Sacred Guardian, this update will include a Massive Balance update; comprised of feedback provided directly by KurtzPel’s dedicated players, and in tandem with the Dev Team via the Eltheca Proving Ground, a closed test server where players and developers provide feedback on everything from game balance to features, interface layout and game concepts. On October 5th, 2019, the 3rd round of the Eltheca Proving Ground goes live. Based on feedback from this test, adjustments to the game will be made in time for the October 10th update.
Additional features being added with the October 10th update include three epically immersive Lime-themed PvE Missions, a Field-of-Vision Slider that tailors the game experience better for players, and an additional Accessory drop for all existing PvE Bosses.
KurtzPel is a 3rd Person, Anime-Inspired, Action Battle Game created by the developers of Grand Chase and Elsword Online. In KurtzPel, classic action game dynamics are enabled when players outfit their characters with 2, separate jobs (called Karma) that can be swapped out and utilized interchangeably, mid-combat. Players can enjoy various 2v2 PvP Modes; queued up by a smart, automated match-making system, player created 1v1, 2v2 or 3v3 Custom Missions. Or, players can embark upon a larger-than-life, raid style, quest-driven battle system against big, bad boss monsters.
Gameplay and additional information about KurtzPel can be found at www.kurtzpel.com and the official YouTube channel.
KurtzPel is free-to-play for PC via Steam Early Access.
