Assassin’s Creed Shadows Reveals 20 Minutes of New Gameplay Featuring the Infiltration of Nijo Palace

In anticipation of the March 20 PS5 release of Assassin’s Creed Shadows, which is just two weeks away, Ubisoft/PlayStation has released 20 minutes of additional gameplay that shows Naoe and Yasuke breaking into Nijo Palace, a tenshu (a castle complex) in Kyoto, a key city in the Yamashiro region.

Enhanced for PS5 Pro

Assassin’s Creed Shadows, the first Assassin’s Creed game designed exclusively for modern hardware, can be played in Performance mode on the PS5 and PS5 Pro at up to 2160p and 60 frames per second. Ray traced reflecting surfaces are available all over the world, however only the PS5 Pro allows extended ray tracing. See the complete specs breakdown below.

  • PS5 – Fidelity Mode
