Players take on the role of Rook in Dragon Age: The Veilguard, a fully customizable protagonist who has to stand up, rally their crew, and prove to be the hero Thedas needs in a world where legends are made or broken. Seven intriguing allies, each descended from a well-known Dragon Age faction, join Rook in their struggle against corrupt Elven gods. Companion characters Bellara, Davrin, Emmrich, Harding, Lucanis, Neve, and Taash all bring special fighting skills and equipment to the battle, in addition to their own individual motives and storylines, which Rook must carefully employ in their struggle for Thedas’ survival.
John Epler, Creative Director of Dragon Age: The Veilguard stated, “As someone who’s been working on Dragon Age for over 15 years, I know just how much our community has been looking forward to this day, and I’m equally excited to share and celebrate that the game will officially launch on October 31. We wanted to give you the choice to really express yourself, and do that in a world full of adventure and danger. So whether you’re a Warrior, Rogue or a Mage, we can’t wait for you to gear up, gather your party, and set out for another thrilling adventure through Thedas this Halloween.”
Dragon Age: The Veilguard is a character-driven role-playing game that offers a skillfully constructed experience weaved from the franchise’s signature rich storytelling and fantastical worldbuilding.
