MapleStory Welcomes Guardian Angel Slime Boss in Latest Update

Crowned as the leader of the Slimes, Guardian Angel Slime is a force to be reckoned with – players can examine their strength against the new boss character after venturing out to Ramuramu upon receiving their mysterious invitation. Guardian Angel Slime drops a new item in the Boss Accessory set, the Guardian Angel Ring. This cute and powerful slime is available today to characters Lv. 210+ who completed the Fifth Job Advancement!

In addition to the introduction of Guardian Angel Slime, this latest update includes extensions from “On Air: Glimpse of Joy” for Maple LIVE Events, Burning World, and Tera Burning Plus, along with new features for each, plus the recent addition of MapleStory to GeForce Now:

Maple LIVE Events: Players can complete daily, weekly, and monthly missions to collect Pink and Black Beans with various rewards based on their Creator Rank that feature game enhancements, growth and cosmetic items. The update also adds the new Prancing With the Stars and Maple ON AIR – Gift Show! …Show! …Show! quests for Maplers Level 101 and above. Additionally new PvP and Co-Op focused event mini-games Sky Sovereign, Puzzle Master, Maple Soccer, Train Conductor,  are now available:

  • Sky Sovereign – In Sky Sovereign, running December 15 through January 11, a minimum of 10 players will be split into two teams, with the goal of inflicting the most damage to the opposite team in the time allotted to earn points. The team that earns the most points wins the skirmish, and as players accumulate more points, those points can be redeemed for rewards including the Sky Sovereign’s Scepter and Golden Gavel Chair.

  • Puzzle Master – From December 15 through January 11, players Level 200 and above have the opportunity to earn EXP by completing three puzzles in thirty minutes either alone or with the help of up to two other Maplers. To start Puzzle Master, players will connect with Spiegelette located on the LIVE Studio map, and can complete Puzzle Master twice per day per world.

  • Maple Soccer – Running January 12 through February 8, players Level 101 and above can join a minimum of 10 other players in Maple Soccer, where the goal is to score points against the other team with the winning team earning points and individual points scored for each goal. Players can use these points to earn the League Selection Outfit Set and Golden Player Trophy.

  • Train Conductor –  Running January 12 through February 8, players Level 200 and above can speak to Spiegelette located on the LIVE Studio map to enter Train Conductor and deliver goods to a variety of towns to accumulate points. Once 50,000 points are accumulated, the character will gain EXP based on the character’s specific level.

Burning World and Tera Burning Plus: Burning World and Tera Burning Plus events continue to support speedy player growth, allowing players to create and designate burning characters who will gain 1+2 levels each time they level up all the way to Lv. 200. Once Tera Burning characters reach Lv. 220, they may choose from either a 17-Star Unique Absolab weapon or a 15-Star Unique Dominator Pendant!

The arrival of MapleStory on GeForce Now, NVIDIA’s cloud gaming service, also allows Maplers to play on any device, anywhere – including on MacOS for the first time.

As a bonus, both MapleStory M and MapleStory will be running the Pathfinder Link Event through January 19, 2022, whereby, after reaching level 70, 120, and 140 in MapleStory M with Pathfinder, Maplers can garner rewards in MapleStory including a Pathfinder Damage Skin, Tortoise Pet, and more.
