Nintendo announced that the Mario Kart 8 Limited Edition Software Bundle is heading to North America, which includes a copy of the game and a Blue Shell figurine.
In addition, the Nintendo World store in New York has revealed on Twitter that they, too, will be selling the same limited edition bundle as Europe, but with a different outer box artwork (see below).

The Nintendo World Store also announced the Mario Kart 8 Launch Event, taking place May 29th, 8PM – 12AM – more details will follow shortly.
