MARVEL Contest of Champions Begins Summoner Showdown Qualifiers

Kabam and Marvel Entertainment have joined forces for the 2020 Summoner Showdown tournament for the award-winning mobile game, MARVEL Contest of Champions. Players from around the world can participate now in the Qualifier Round by logging into the game and start the ‘Summoner Showdown’ qualifier quest to begin the journey to stake their claim as the ultimate Champion!

The Summoner Showdown in-game Qualifier Sessions will have three weekly Bosses to fight and will prove to be some of the most competitive content to date. Beginning today, you’ll face a new Boss each week powered by game-breaking buffs that will put all your skill to test!

MARK YOUR CALENDARS AND GET READY TO FIGHT THIS YEAR’S BOSSES!

  • Week 1 Silver Surfer – Start: Monday, August 17th 2020 at 10am PDT
    • End: Monday, August 24th 2020 at 10am PDT
  • Week 2 Captain Marvel – Start: Monday, August 31st 2020 at 10am PDT
    • End: Monday, September 7th 2020 at 10am PDT
  • Week 3 Iron Man (Infinity War) – Start: Monday, September 14th 2020 at 10am PDT
    • End: Monday, September 21st 2020 at 10am PDT

This special quest will be broken down into two different difficulties – Showdown or Show Up – to give all our Summoners an opportunity to try. Even better, neither difficulty will cost you any energy!

MARVEL Contest of Champions Begins Summoner Showdown Qualifiers

Players are encouraged to attempt the qualifiers repeatedly to get the top score. Winners will be determined by a series of scoring parameters.

Players can visit the official Summoner Showdown website to track the top scores in each region, with scores vetted by Kabam and Marvel being updated every 24 hours.
