Below are all of the Star Wars: The Old Republic news and highlights that were revealed today:

  • The “Desperate Defiance” chapter of the new main story: Following the events of “Chains in the Dark,” players will be able to recruit Sa’har as a new ally and embark on a perilous quest to recover the holocron, which may reveal additional information about Heta’s schemes. In the midst of a worker uprising in the Minboosa District, players will return to Hutta and confront “Yusinduu the Hutt,” the proprietor and “completely legitimate businessman.”
  • Dantooine Farmstead and Spring Abundance Festival: Players of Star Wars: The Old Republic will have the opportunity to take a break from fighting and take up the role of farmstead caretaker on Dantooine. After completing a brief story arc that introduces them to the farmhouse, players will receive an almost unbelievable offer in which they will be granted a plot of land to tend to. Players can participate in a variety of events during the Spring Abundance Festival, such as a galaxy egg search, dancing, baking pies, and seed collection.

  • The First of Many Single Player Ventures: There will be more difficult single-player “Ventures” added to the game, beginning with the Basilisk Prototype. This venture, which is all about training up the Basilisk Prototype B3-S1, commonly known as Bessie, is intimately related to the current Lane Vizla plot. The player may employ this prototype as a companion for brief periods of time. To make B3-S1 a lifelong partner, players will need to gradually focus on training it to reach its full battle potential and capabilities.

  • New PVP Seasons Release Schedule: PvP seasons will now start the day an update is released, starting with Update 7.5. PVP Season 6 will start on the same day as Update 7.5.

Additional player character customizations are also available, such as the Ahsoka-inspired Baylan beard and upgraded dye packs.

  • Public Test Server Begins this Week: When the PTS launches in the upcoming days, players will be able to test out a large portion of the new content that was featured in the livestream—aside from the story missions.

The announcement of Update 7.5’s rollout is another thing that was revealed during the webcast.
