Nexon Studio Veteran Myeong-jin Yun Assumes Leadership for Development and Live Operations of Dungeon&Fighter on PC

NEXON Co., Ltd., a global leader in Virtual Worlds, today announced that its consolidated subsidiary NEOPLE INC., has refreshed the creative leadership on the popular online action franchise, Dungeon&Fighter. The change is expected to bring new ideas and content, renew growth and strengthen the competitiveness of the celebrated franchise.

Veteran director Myeong-jin Yun, the leader of Neople Action Studio, is now responsible for Dungeon&Fighter in addition to his existing oversight of Mobile Dungeon&Fighter and Project BBQ.

Myeong-jin Yun joined Neople in 2008 to work on the original game in this franchise and was quickly recognized for his vision, leadership and love for the Dungeon&Fighter IP. From 2014 to 2017, Myeong-jin Yun served as a development director on Dungeon&Fighter and developed a reputation for respecting and listening to players. During his tenure, the franchise saw continuous updates that thrilled and engaged players, and new registrations grew by 200% and the game captured record market share in PC cafes in Korea. In 2017, Myeong-jin Yun was appointed as the leader of Neople’s Action Studio, which develops Mobile Dungeon&Fighter and Project BBQ, but has remained close to the original Dungeon&Fighter.

With the new leadership at Neople, players can expect exciting updates and all new titles for the Dungeon&Fighter universe. Neople is also expected to attract creative talent with new ideas for expanding the Dungeon&Fighter IP.
