If you were around the ‘net in the early 2000s, you might remember a browser game that ran on the LEGO website called The Nightfall Incident – now regarded as a cult classic of sorts. Nightfall Hacker is a fully featured homage to that game with additional programs, way more levels, and the inclusion of a level editor!
Developed by UK studio Teradile, Nightfall Hacker turns white hat hacking into no holds barred, unflinching turn-based strategy skirmishes against malicious software and dangerous payloads.
In Nightfall Hacker, you’re a freelance hacker – someone who lives and dies by code. Making money is easy: All you need to do is to accept jobs, deliver the goods, and get paid. Win enough new clients, and the world is yours – with the upgraded programs that go along with it. Nevertheless, you eventually come to grips with the fact that black hat hackers are up to something nefarious – and it’s up to you to find out!
Nightfall Hacker Key Features:
- Hacking with simple, straightforward rules
- More than 100 levels to get through
- Nerve-wracking turn-based battles
- Custom level editor included
- Two single-player campaigns
Nightfall Hacker will be available for Windows PC, Mac, and Linux via Steam next Wednesday, March 10 for only $7.99 – 20% off. On March 17, the game will return to its original retail price of $9.99.
