Outright Games Unwrapped - Fast & Furious: Spy Racers Rise of SH1FT3R

We attended the Outright Games Unwrapped event last week, and got a look at upcoming Fast & Furious: Spy Racers Rise of SH1FT3R game based off of Netflix series Fast and Furious: Spy Racers, a racing game that will be later this year. The game is developed by 3D Clouds and published by Outright games.

As we know Outright games is known for family friendly style of games, and Fast & Furious: Spy Racers Rise of SH1FT3R is no different in that matter, which is focused on kids aged 6-12 years as the target player base. But after checking the gameplay, it does feel that players of various age group will love this game.

Fast & Furious: Spy Racers Rise of SH1FT3R Key Features:

SH1FT3R IS BACK –Race as fan-favorite Spy Racers characters, including Tony Toretto, Echo, Cisco, Layla Gray, or even race as the notorious SH1FT3R gang during multiplayer mode. Use innovative gadgets to gain the upper hand and tear up the tracks in a globe-trotting tournament in story mode, couch co-op, or online multiplayer.

COUCH CO-OP AND MULTIPLAYER –The Spy Racers must show the whole world they’re the fastest, coolest, and most talented racers! Customize vehicles with unlockable skins and race against online opponents, AI-controlled drivers, and friends with couch co-op and online multiplayer.
FIGHT TO THE FINISH LINE -It takes more than speed to win this racing challenge. Armed with 15 spy gear weapons inspired by the Netflix original series, the Spy Racers need to blast past rivals to earn victory.

The gameplay showed us some amazing footage of the game utilizing different vehicles, and different special abilities all inspired from the Netflix show. And the game also includes the original voice cast from the show.

Gameplay pretty much feels like Mario Kart where the player can use skills to slow down other racers and use different special abilities based on the racer. There are going to be tournaments that players will have to play through and collect in-game currency for some customization. The game is simplified to target a very young audience.

Fast & Furious: Spy Racers Rise of SH1FT3R also include a network as well a couch co-op options for players to enjoy the game. We are looking forward to the game that will be coming for PS5, PS4, XBOX Series X, XBOX 1, Nintendo Switch, Stadia, and STEAM. All the last gen games like for Xbox One and PS4 version of the game will have an updated version available for the current gen version with improved gameplay.
