The Android-powered Ouya console supports emulators and word is that both SNES and NES emulators will be ready for launch.
An unnamed source said that the apps are wrapping up in development now, and should be considered illegal much like their mobile counterparts. Regardless, the illegal nature of the Android app did not stop developers from creating programs that let players run retro games on Samsung Galaxy phones. Most likely, this trend will continue on Ouya.
Ouya will ship to Kickstarter backers on March 28th.
Would you like to see these emulators at launch?
