At PAX East 2019, we met with Marcello Lima from the Team Cat Nigiri, who is the co-founder and designer on both the games Keen and Necrosphere Deluxe.
We personally had a hands on demo with Keen, which is sliding puzzle game. It combines the puzzle concept with turn-by-turn tactical combat. The game has a story and progression system as well. The hero that players play as needs to move the character either horizontally or vertically only. But it needs to be thought of carefully before doing that as there are attacking enemies everywhere. Players need to choose the moves wisely. Also, for the sense of achievement and to collect orbs, the player should complete the optional challenges on each level. Keen has tons of upgrades and gadgets to keep the players attached towards the game. The game will be available Q1 2019 via Steam.
As for Necrosphere Deluxe, we were able to watch through this amazingly created platformer. We were surprised at how easily the controls were handled while at the same time, how hard it could be because of the intense obstacles available throughout the game. We look forward to the updated version with improved performance.
Necrosphere Deluxe is already available on Steam, Nintendo Switch, and Playstation 4.
