SEGA today announced the free-to-play online action RPG, PHANTASY STAR ONLINE 2 NEW GENESIS, has received a large update that will help new and returning players access tons of exciting new content in celebration of the 2.5th Anniversary. These updates will make it easier than ever for players to progress through PSO2: NGS’ ongoing sci-fi story.
The 2.5th Anniversary Campaign: Super Genesis Festival begins today and runs through January 24, 2024. Complete the story through Chapter 5 to receive 2.5 million N-Meseta, 2 Legacy Coordination Badges ,and other phabulous items! During the event, players can use the Salon free-of-charge. There will be login bonuses, boosts, and rewards as well as half-price Ship Transfers during Part 1 of the campaign.
It will now be easier to raise Battle power and obtain Gold Primm II items and Arms Refiners II. There will be more chances to obtain equipment that will equip players to play through the most recent campaigns and story up to Level 70.
Players will notice an increase in rare item drops, such as 10★ Flugelgard series and 9★ weapons! There will be more opportunities to obtain Avatar items so avatars can have even more customization options! Players may also find greater rewards from Special Scratches.
The Global version of PHANTASY STAR ONLINE 2 NEW GENESIS includes fully localized text and character voices in English and will remain content current with the Japanese servers.
