Nintendo’s Pokémon X & Y has sold over 4 million games in a two-day period, but a major bug has appeared.
The bug has been occasionally affecting some players in North America and Europe when saving in Lumiose City. The save seems to cause irreversible corruption of save data, forcing the unfortunate players to start all over again.
Nintendo posted on their Japanese website that they are working on a fix is for those who have experienced the problem, within a “few days.” The post acknowledges Lumiose City — or Miare City in Japan — as the source of the issue, with advice to save in buildings such as the Pokémon Centre. The map below reportedly shows areas that prompt the bug.
