World’s popular mobile game continues 2nd Anniversary celebration with lookback at the server-wide and player-specific fun stats in game
LOS ANGELES – Ever wondered just how many undead foes have been thrashed to pieces since the launch of PUBG MOBILE’s Survive Till Dawn zombie mode earlier this year? Hint: The answer is well over 10.5 billion and can be found in the mini-site in game.
For the first time ever, players and community members can check out a broad range of impressive statistics in the all-new PUBG MOBILE 2nd Anniversary Recap mini-site via event center in game. In addition to cumulative PUBG MOBILE server-wide figures such as hottest skydive locations and total vehicles destroyed, players can view their own personalized stats including weirdest deaths, best/worst firearms, the teammates and more. The new recap section is available as part of the PUBG MOBILE 2nd Anniversary celebration that is already underway, with multiple in-game events and activities for players to join.
“With more than 600 million downloads and 50 million daily active users, it made sense for us to showcase some of the massive and interesting statistics about PUBG MOBILE as we begin our third year,” says Vincent Wang, General Manager of Global Publishing, Tencent Games. “We look forward to continuing to grow our community as the game continues to connect people, and we hope players will enjoy some of the moments and details that made the last two years so special.”
In addition to the new recap mini-site, PUBG MOBILE is releasing a new series of player stories to celebrate the game’s 2nd anniversary. Fans and community members can watch the videos and recall their own stories with PUBG MOBILE by visiting the in-game eSports center, the PUBG MOBILE Facebook and YouTube page, or the official website.
Players and community members can also participate in the PUBG MOBILE classic theme music cover contest, with more information here.
PUBG MOBILE is available to download for free on the App Store and Google Play.
