A real life Mario Kart event took place in the streets of Shibuya, Tokyo last weekend.
The streets were transformed into a Mushroom Kingdom speedway as a group of kart-drivers dressed in full costume got together for a live multiplayer session.
Member of the Japan-based community group, Tokyo Gaijins, organized the event. The group is open to anyone who lives in Japan.
While you’re at it, you can also check out the revealed Super Mario Kart action replay cheat code here.
What did you think of the real-life Mario Kart race? Would you dress up in costume and take part in the event?
