A preview of Riftbound’s upcoming set, Spiritforged, was revealed by Riot Games.
In the Rift, weapons are more than simply tools—they are extensions of your power and spirit. On February 13, 2026, Spiritforged will introduce new methods to play Riftbound in English in addition to new tools.

Spiritforged will improve upon Origins in every aspect, beginning with three new mechanics:
- Equipment: The primary new feature in Spiritforged is this new card subtype. Units can be strengthened by adding equipment, and even if a unit is killed, the equipment is still in use.
- Gold: Draven features gold tokens. To obtain the Power resource, which is necessary to play some cards, you can “spend” them.
- Repeat:Spells whose effects can be doubled if you pay for them twice.
Twelve new Spirit Blossom-themed Overnumbered cards feature the Ionia Spirit Blossom, which has lifted the curtain between the spirit and mortal realms. Prepare to test your cunning, might, and soul with Spiritforged, and avoid using Rule 650 (though we won’t hold it against you if you do).
