RISING STAR 2 Music Industry Simulator Unveils Banner Creation and More

Are you ready to take your band to stardom in this unique rock simulator?

California – Banners, songwriting, gig setlists, and character creation. It’s all here in the latest round-up of Rising Star 2’s feature reveals, from development studio Gilligames.

In a continued march on their feature list, President and Lead Designer Todd M. Gillissie recently took players through two videos. In the first (seen above), and the highlight of this week’s announcements, Todd walks players through the in-depth songwriting system that’s at the heart of running a successful band, while shining a spotlight on the true value of a rockin’ setlist.

The second video, showcased last week, saw players get a glimpse of the banners they’ll be able to create, while also demonstrating for the first time a live gig, player owned apartments, and a drive around the city.

When it comes to gig banners — the centerpiece for your stage and band — there’s a huge selection of options, from shape, fonts, color, logos and emblems, to layering and key design elements. It’ll be up to you to decide what you want to rock out in front of.

Rising Star 2 Key Features:

  • A dynamic musician attitude system (DMAS) to recruit compatible musicians and kick out musicians that no longer get along
  • Hiring managers to find recording contracts, endorsements, and book individual gigs or entire tours
  • Full customization of a band’s appearance with thousands of combinations of hairstyles, makeup, and clothing
  • Customizing the band’s van appearance with more than 80 different paint jobs
