Rising Star Games announced today that they will be showcasing three wildly different titles straight from their spring lineup at Penny Arcade Expo (PAX) East 2016 taking place from April 22 through April 24 at booth #7204. The games to be featured are: Lumo, a contemporary take on the long-lost isometric adventure genre; I Want To Be Human, a strange love story that takes you into the pits of hell to save the main character’s beau; and Assault Suit Leynos, a mech-action blast-a-thon with a 2D classic legacy recreated for modern audiences.
Attendees of the show can get hands-on with the following Rising Star Games titles:
Lumo – (Platforms: PS4, PSVita, Xbox One, PC): Being heralded as a “Must Have For 2016,” Lumo is a love letter to old school games and pop-culture form the 80’s. Drawn from the mind of Gareth Noyce, the former Ruffian co-founder and now head of Triple Eh?. Lumo has the kind of charm that absolutely anyone can enjoy, with unique zones, six hidden mini-games, and all kinds of wonders to uncover. It is a modern adventure through the looking-glass of gaming history!
I Want To Be Human – Sinclair Strange (Platforms: PC, PS4, Xbox One): Everyone knows the age-old love story, right? Boy meets vampire girl, boy falls in love with vampire girl, boy gets turned into a hat by evil forces trying to take over the world… wait, what? There’s only one way to fix it: go on a bloodthirsty rampage of death and destruction in a quest to get your boyfriend back! Packed with crazy platform blasting action, tongue-in-cheek humor, and lashings of exploding body parts, players head out on a journey through hell and back (literally) to save the vampire girl’s beau.
Assault Suit Leynos – Dracue Software (Platforms: PC, PS4): Revamped with modern 3D stylings is this 2D mech-action shooter making its North American debut at PAX East. More details to be revealed soon…
