Robbie Swifthand and the Orb of Mysteries is developed by Pixel Reign and published by both Pixel Reign and Kiss Publishing. You play as what seems to be a plumber with no future of some kind. He is actually just your common thug but his appearance gives off more of a plumber kind of vibe but anyways, Robbie boy, here starts off in a mysterious temple and is approached by some strange orb of light that tells him he is the one destined to save humanity. However, Robbie could care less about that – he’s just in it for the money and decides to roll with it. And so that’s how the game begins…
Gameplay:
This trial and error game offers a story mode for normal mode as well as hell mode. You definitely want to stick with normal mode first because hell mode is just ruthless. There is a room with a map showing you all the levels and paths that are available to take and at the end of each path there is a boss. The mission is simple: make your way through the rooms and collect an orb and destroy a yellow block with it to get out. Sounds easy enough right? Wrong! Robbie Swifthand and the Orb of Mysteries does provide challenges and you will be faced with spikes, falling blocks, guillotines, and much, much more. It is pretty easy once you figure out the pattern of the moving objects but you’ll still have a hard time actually performing the actions to complete the levels.
Every time you die a ghost marker appears and shows you where you died; it’s for aiding you in remembering where not to mess up but to me, it is actually more of a slap to the face and is just a constant reminder of my failures …which I could do without…but still, it’s a nice addition.
Controls:
There was nothing wrong with the controls as they were very stiff and responsive. I personally would just switch up the jumping controls cause at default, it is at B and I just find that very awkward. It’s all up to your personal gaming taste.
There are times when you’ll get frustrated with Robbie Swifthand and the Orb of Mysteries and the number of deaths shows up every time you die on the loading screen so be sure to take breaks! Overall, it is a fun game so I give it an 8/10.

Nintendo Switch Review
Hello there, I got into video games at a very young age and my first console was actually the Super Nintendo, I still have it to this day and have quite a collection of games for it. I play a lot of games ranging from different genres like fighting games, i.e Tekken and Street Fighter, RPG's i.e Dark Souls and Final Fantasy, side-scrollers, visual novels, MMO's, Shooters, and Horror. The more violent and story drove the better!. But, as I mentioned before my range for videogame genres has no bounds, I'll play anything as long as it's fun!
