SNK and Athlon Games have released two new gameplay trailers for Samurai Shodown’s two new fighters, Haohmaru and Genjuro.
The game’s main protagonist, Haohmaru, is a wandering swordsman with no loyalties to any lord. This rōnin loves to fight against strong opponents and puts his all into defeating anyone who stands in the way with his legendary sword Fugudoku.
Also this week, the game introduces Genjuro, Haohmaru’s main rival. Usually found in red-light districts and gambling parlors, Genjuro slashes and discards everything in his path with his ruthless sword. Those who enjoy living would do well to avoid him at all costs.

Samurai Shodown will launch in the Americas and Europe on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on June 25th, 2019. Samurai Shodown will be available on Nintendo Switch in Q4 2019 and PC at a later date. Samurai Shodown ($59.99 MSRP) is available for pre-order now.
