SNK and Athlon Games are excited to welcome Yoshitora, the latest fighter to be showcased in Samurai Shodown’s weekly character reveal series. This heir to the Tokugawa shogunate carries seven swords, named after six lovers and himself. Despite his position (and sharp grasp of military strategy), Yoshitora cares little for politics, and would rather spend his time chasing life’s pleasures. Getting a grasp of his six phantasmagoric swords is nearly impossible, and only one person has ever seen him unsheathe his special long sword ‘Yoshitora’ and lived to tell the tale.
Samurai Shodown will launch in the Americas and Europe on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on June 25th, 2019. Samurai Shodown will be available on Nintendo Switch in Q4 2019 and PC at a later date. Samurai Shodown ($59.99 MSRP) is available for pre-order now.
