Today, SEGA unveiled a brand-new NGS Headline, a program designed to educate players on the current state of affairs, upcoming developments, and upcoming campaigns for PHANTASY STAR ONLINE 2 NEW GENESIS, Sega’s free-to-play online action role-playing game. Today, SEGA unveiled new limited-time quests and missions, an Ultra Build Up Battle Power Campaign, new Line Strike cards, and a makeover for PSO2.

PSO2 Day Revamp
September 21 marks the redesign of PSO2 Day. Every month, from the first to the third and the 21st to the 23rd, players will get additional gifts and bonuses. Earned experience points rise by 50%, while rare drop rates rise by 100%. 50 SG, two Special Scratch Tickets, one 5-day Material Storage Use, and two N-Color-Change Passes will be given to each player. Even additional gifts and boosts are available to premium members. Deals and AC Scratch Tickets are also available to players.
High-difficulty Quest: Major Target Suppression Mission: Planetcrush Blitz – Rank 2
Rank 2 will now be available in the High-difficulty Quest: Suppression of Major Targets Goal: Blitz Planetcrush. Malignant Dark Falz Dalion, an incredibly potent foe who has advanced past Rank 1 even farther, is the suppression target. As it unleashes new attacks and upgrades its prior move set, keep an eye on its behavior during the battle. Fight in groups of up to four people. Players will be able to gain Titles from new Title Tasks, and the Weekly Tasks for obtaining SG will be changed in conjunction with the addition of Rank 2. This mission can be taken at any time and as often as desired via the teleporter in North Kvaris, but players will require a very high Battle Power to complete it. Prepare yourself for combat and take on the mightiest foe in history until you achieve triumph.
Zenith Firefight
On September 10th, the new Limited-time Quest: Zenith Firefight will launch. Located at the summit of Leciel, this quest consists of a string of fights against formidable foes, such as the recently introduced Ruinous boss adversary Ruine Angele. Ruine Angele is a strong foe who chains together melee and ranged strikes with its agility. Use the M.A.R.S. battery charger to its maximum potential in the field to eliminate this formidable adversary. Note that completing the Main Task: M.A.R.S. Arrives first is a requirement for this quest, as it involves the ability to utilize M.A.R.S. Alongside this quest, there will be new Title Tasks and Limited-Time Tasks introduced. Get Titles, an N-Augment Transfer Pass Voucher, Build Parts with an M.A.R.S. theme, Special Scratch Tickets, and more by completing these Tasks.
Polaris Firefight
The new Limited-time Quest: Polaris Firefight, which releases in early September, is a highly challenging variant of the Limited-time Quest: Zenith Firefight. Ruine Angele will be your opponent in Single Combat in this version. To increase the challenge aspect even further, there will be an additional Title Task to finish the quest with an S-Rank. Similar to Zenith Firefight, mastery of M.A.R.S. is necessary to complete this quest. Play as M.A.R.S. and defeat the boss adversary by yourself.
New Line Strike Cards
On September 18, Line Strike will receive some love with the release of 15 new cards. A number of new skills with new effects will also be added, along with the appearance of NGS characters like Aina, Manon, Nadereh, and Glen. These skills include a new passive skill that increases Attack based on enemy numbers and element types, a skill that blocks Summons to specific squares, a skill that negates enemy debuffs, and a skill that lowers your opponent’s point total.These cards can be used by players to bolster their current deck or to create a whole new one centered around them.
Drill: Unidentified Region X2048
Players will have access to a new limited-time quest named Drill: Unidentified Region X2048 starting on September 24. In this quest, players must defeat an adversary in order to collect Quest Points in competition with one another. During the mission, Photon Boost Crates will also surface; open these Crates to temporarily enhance a variety of player abilities. Acquire skill upgrades and apply them as needed to give you an advantage in combat. Along with this quest, there will be new Title Tasks and Limited-time Tasks introduced. Get rewards like an N-Augment Transfer Pass Voucher, Special Scratch Tickets, and titles by completing these tasks.
Ultra Build Up Battle Power Campaign
Now is the time for the Ultra Build Up Battle Power Campaign! Players that sign up and log in will get a free SG Scratch worth up to 100 draws. In addition, players can participate in Treasure Scratch, the Item Enhancement Support Campaign, and numerous more exciting campaigns!
