Victura’s eagerly awaited “Command and Control” update for the historically accurate first-person tactical shooter Six Days in Fallujah was launched last week and is currently available via Steam Early Access.
The first documentary story missions in Six Days in Fallujah, which immerse players in the early stages of ISIS and the worst conflict for Western forces in almost fifty years, are included in this release. Alongside documentary video and interviews with Americans and Iraqis who witnessed the Second Battle of Fallujah in November 2004, gamers engage in recreations of real-life events during these missions.
A solo mode where players command AI fireteams programmed with real military tactics has also been added to the Command and Control update. Taking inspiration from the original Rainbow Six, Ghost Recon, Brothers in Arms, SOCOM, and other vintage “squad-based shooters,” players employ intricate military strategies to defeat war simulations.

Victura CEO, Peter Tamte, stated, “What happened in Fallujah throughout 2004 set the world down a path from which we have not yet returned. As a documentary video game, Six Days in Fallujah deepens our understanding of the realities of war by combining the most accurate simulation of warfare to date with the words and experiences of the Iraqis and Americans who were there.”
Six Days in Fallujah Command and Control Update New Features:
- First Documentary Story Missions: The Command and Control update’s first two single-player story campaign missions transport players to the early stages of the Second Battle of Fallujah and the formation of ISIS. Solo players can also use these missions as a tutorial to master the controls and strategies for managing three NPC colleagues with the recently added Fireteam AI system.
- Advanced Fireteam AI System: Players can now command an AI fireteam in Six Days in Fallujah and use advanced strategies including fire and maneuver, ambushes, breaching, and 360-degree security. The ground-breaking “Go! Command” enables issuing commands as simple as firing weapons. Teams can follow in formation, watch targets, breach defenses, or suppress attackers with a single tap.
- AI Teammates: Successful mission completion necessitates a full fireteam of four individuals and efficient use of tactics, much like in real battle. Now, when all four humans are unavailable, gamers can replace AI teammates online in addition to managing AI fireteams in the new single-player mode.
- New “HLZ Wolf” Procedural Mission:This update adds the new “HLZ Wolf” Procedural Mission along as two brand-new single-player story campaign missions. With Fireteam AI, all eight procedural missions can now be played either solo or collaboratively with four or fewer people. The game will fill in any gaps with AI partners.
- Graphical Overhaul: Building on the game’s industry-leading Global Dynamic Lighting and Procedural Architecture technologies, which dynamically simulate real weather and lighting effects, Six Days in Fallujah now boasts ray-traced lighting and numerous new visual effects thanks to NVIDIA’s RTX Global Illumination (RTXGI) technology. For increased visual accuracy, the majority of the game’s characters, settings, vehicles, and effects have also been enhanced.
- Additional Improvements: More than 300 technical improvements have been made, enhancing everything from the efficiency of enemy AI to the fluidity of controls and interactions to game performance.
For $39.99, Six Days in Fallujah is available for Windows PC via Steam Early Access. The Command and Control upgrade is being celebrated by offering the game for $29.99 until November 17, 2024.
Before Six Days in Fallujah’s full release on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox platforms in late 2025, future Steam Early Access upgrades will add more features and material to the game.
