LOS ANGELES – Sleep Tight, the twin-stick, base-building shooter wrapped in blankets of nostalgia, is out now for Nintendo Switch in both Europe and Australia.
After more than a decade as Hollywood artists and AAA game developers, We Are Fuzzy launches its debut title as an independent developer. Helmed by VFX artist Maxx Burman (the Far Cry series, Game of Thrones, Titanfall, Sea of Thieves); the project includes contributions from Disney artist Dylan Ekren (Wreck It Ralph, Big Hero 6, Zootopia), and Ubisoft designer, Oscar Mar (Far Cry 3, Splinter Cell: Conviction, Rainbow Six Siege).
Reminiscence in the childhood experience of constructing plush fortresses and guarding them from the things that go bump in the night. Hold off the hordes of monsters who emerge from the shadows after dark using elaborate pillow forts and toy weapons, like dart guns and water balloons, in a frantic fight to stay alive until sunrise.
Choose between a cast of 12 adorable characters, each with distinctive abilities that impact how they’ll survive the onslaught. Empty piggy banks during the day to purchase upgrades and build new defenses, as the challenge grows with each passing night. Get creative and explore various strategies, testing the kids’ limits and unlocking new faces by setting higher scores.
“Recreating something as special as our childhood memories and sharing them in game form has been an incredible experience,” said Maxx Burman, creative director, We Are Fuzzy. “Sleep Tight is an experience that resonates with players of all ages and we’re glad to be able to bring it to new audiences today with the European and Australian Nintendo Switch releases.”
