Valve has announced the new service that rewards players for Steam gaming – trading cards.
The trading cards allow players to earn Steam rewards for playing games as well as receive game-specific trading cards. In turn, these cards can be collected to earn rewards such as game badges, profile backgrounds, emoticons, coupons, and much more.
Presently, the trading card titles that are participating in Steam Trading Cards include: GRID 2, Company of Heroes 2, FTL, Monaco, Trine 2, Super Meat Boy, Sanctum 2, Magicka, Brütal Legend and Left 4 Dead 2 and many more.
Future trading cards will be added over the next few months to include many more titles.
