Summoners War World Arena Championship starts 2 p.m. CET, Saturday, Oct. 26 at the Parisian Maison de la Mutualité
PARIS – Mobile RPG phenomenon Summoners War is capping its 2019 eSports tournament series with a spectacular final event in Paris. On Saturday, Oct. 26, the world’s best Summoners War players and over 1,500 fans will descend upon flagship event venue Parisian Maison de la Mutualité for a heated competition and shot at taking a piece of the massive $210,000 prize pool.
After months of build-up and fierce all-out brawls, the Summoners War eSports tournament series has narrowed the competitors down to eight pro players, each with their own reason to give their all at the finals this weekend. The final contenders, broken down by the winners of each regional cup, are:

- Asia-Pacific Cup
○ Diligent (Winner)
○ Lama (Runner-up)
○ Judas (Third Place)
- Europe Cup
○ Rosith (Winner)

“We have a fantastic venue in the heart of Paris, filled with 1,500 enthusiastic Summoners War players and fans, a lot of exciting matches, and a spectacular opening sequence,” said David Mohr, Managing Director of GAMEVIL COM2US Europe GmbH, the European Publisher of Summoners War, and host to SWC 2019. “We’re very happy to be hosting this year since we’ve had to travel to Los Angeles and Seoul in the past, and we’re excited to see how the British and French players representing Europe will fight in front of their domestic audience.”
Joining a panel of selected Summoners War experts commentating each World Finals match in seven different languages are famed hosts and influencers Jiraya and Aayley. Within the frame of a dedicated viewer, special event codes will be unlocked and displayed during the live stream, which fans can use to receive helpful items in Summoners War. Also, new and existing players can currently collect points in the game to receive a “Blessed Scroll” item to summon the most coveted monster of SWC 2019 for free.
