Diverse hands-on offering for fans in the consumer halls and meetings in the business area for press and new partners
UK – August 1, 2017 – Award-winning veteran games developer and international games label Team17 today announced its presence at gamescom, held from August 22-26 in Cologne, Germany.
Team17 will host press meetings, and meetings for potential new partners and developers that would like to pitch their games, by appointment only in the business area.
gamescom attendees will also be able to get hands-on with Team17’s highly anticipated line-up on the show floor at the Team17 booth in hall 8 throughout Wednesday 23rd – Saturday, 26th of August.
Playable games include:
- Genesis: Alpha One – World exclusive first hands-on! In a near future ravaged by wars; corrupt regimes and global capitalism left unchecked have resulted in natural resource over-exploitation and pollution devastating the planet. As the Captain of a Genesis starship, you journey into uncharted space on the ultimate mission. Build and manage a space vessel, farm resources, deal with terrifying alien infestations, clone creatures and explore a vast, randomly generated universe.
Your goal: Find new homes for humanity’s DNA and save the species from extinction. Genesis: Alpha One will be heading to Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC in 2018.
- Sword Legacy: Omen – Set in the candlepunk realm of Broken Britannia, a once-thriving kingdom full of alchemical and technological advances now fragmented by intrigue and deceit. As the vengeful knight, Uther, and his misfit band of companions, players will embark on a thrilling journey to locate the long-lost Excalibur. In this bloody, brutal take on the Arthurian legend, players will explore rich environments, experience a riveting storyline and survive intense turn-based tactical combat to define the fate of Britannia. Sword Legacy: Omen will launch on PC in 2017.
- Yoku’s Island Express – A unique and quirky pinball platform adventure with handcrafted visuals. Flip and bump our pint-sized protagonist around the stunning hand-painted island on your quest to rebuild the post-office, discover the mystery of the Fruit Altar, and wake an old god from its deep slumber. Yoku’s Island Express is coming to Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC in 2018.
- The Escapists 2 – The sequel to the multi-million selling, award-winning sandbox prison-escape game. The Escapists 2 features multiplayer, a first for the series, as well as new ways to escape, new items to craft, a completely revamped combat system, new customization options and more! The Escapists 2 will launch on the 22nd August for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC with a Nintendo Switch version to follow.
