Telltale Games Half Off During Summer Celebration Sale

Batman: The Telltale Series, Batman: The Enemy Within, The Wolf Among Us, Puzzle Agent, Puzzle Agent 2 and Hector: Badge of Carnage Included in the 50% Off Sale

LOS ANGELES — Following last week’s announcement of Telltale Games’ revival and their renewed commitment to interactive storytelling, Athlon Games today announced a celebratory summer sale, featuring several Telltale Games titles including hits, Batman: The Telltale Series, Batman: The Enemy Within, and The Wolf Among Us, as well as classics including Puzzle Agent 1, Puzzle Agent 2, and Hector: Badge of Carnage. From September 5-9, these titles will be available for 50% off on the Microsoft Store, Steam Store, PlayStation Store (Americas only), App Store, and the Google Play Store.

As previously announced, Athlon Games will be partnering with Telltale Games to keep these titles live and available to the public, while providing player support and development funding.

“Athlon Games is proud to be partnering with Telltale Games to both honor the legacy and help chart a path forward for this beloved brand,” said Dave Miller, President at Athlon Games. “Telltale Games is renowned for its unmatched storytelling achievements in the video game space, and with this sale we can introduce these fan favorite titles to new players around the world.”

Last week it was announced that LCG Entertainment purchased Telltale Games’ key assets, trademarks, technology, and select intellectual properties with the intent of re-releasing select games from the studio’s back catalog and developing new games from some of the company’s best-selling brands.

Published by Athlon Games, the Telltale Games include:

  • Batman: The Telltale Series – Enter the fractured psyche of Bruce Wayne and discover the powerful and far-reaching consequences of your choices as the Dark Knight. In this gritty and violent 5-episode story, players will make discoveries that will shatter Bruce Wayne’s world, and the already fragile stability of a corrupt Gotham City.

  • Batman: The Enemy Within – In the 5-episode follow-up to Batman: The Telltale Series, both Bruce Wayne and Batman will be forced into precarious new roles. The Riddler has returned to terrorize Gotham City, but his gruesome puzzles merely foreshadow an even greater crisis. With the arrival of a ruthless federal agent and the return of a still nascent Joker, Batman must navigate uneasy alliances while Bruce Wayne undertakes a perilous series of deceptions.

  • The Wolf Among Us – A gritty, violent, and hard-boiled thriller where the characters and creatures of myth, lore and legend are real and exist in our world – based on the award-winning Fables comic books (DC Comics/Vertigo). As Bigby Wolf; the big bad wolf – players will discover that a brutal, bloody murder is just a taste of things to come in a game series, where your every decision can have enormous consequences.

  • Puzzle Agent and Puzzle Agent 2 – Dark and twisted puzzlers, these games cast players into the role of Nelson Tethers from the U.S. Department of Puzzle Research, as he investigates the strange, peculiar and mind-boggling puzzles that await him to crack the case.

  • Hector: Badge of Carnage – Spanning three episodes, follow the exploits of Detective Inspector Hector, the hard-nosed, soft-bellied lawman of Clappers Wreake, a town that took the “Great” out of Britain. He’s violent, drunk, and has a taste for all things criminal and corrupt.
