Greetings Gamers, Greg Vander Veld here to tell you about the tinyBuild Connect event that took place on September 14th, 2021 in case you missed it. After a brief introduction, tinyBuild showed off a fun-looking Couch Co-Op called SpiderHeck and closed out the event with The Bookwalker an interesting dive into book fantasy. Below I’ll briefly break down each game.
SpiderHeck
An up to 4 player couch battle co-op letting players attack each other with different weapons ranging from guns to light swords as scrambling spiders. This game offers PVP or PVE combat or could even be played solo. Sign up now for the open Beta test and get instant access.
Trash Sailors
Update
This Hand-drawn 2D adventure evokes a fun Paper Mario feel while bringing in the interesting aspect of post-apocalyptic sailing chaos fueled by trash. In this sea set adventure, the world has been flooded in a trash-filled tsunami and all the remaining humans have left is trash to fuel their ships, load their weapons and patch their boats with. This game looks like lots of fun offering teamwork on the open seas of the world with local or online multiplayer available.

Happy Humble Burger Farm
This horrifying burger adventure allows players to enjoy the fun of a burger joint and explore the mysteries of a window into what seems like a hellscape all in one adventure. This game somewhat reminds me of Invader Zim’s Bloaty’s Pizza Hog or Teen Titans’ “Employee of the month,” but with more of a horror emphasis. This game is expected to drop in a full version in Quarter 4 of 2021 on Steam and consoles.
Despot’s Game
Battle through an A.I. created labyrinth or face off against other players in a setup and see what happens style game. Players can arm their army of humans with a wide range of weapons and give them different upgrades to help prepare them for combat against whatever the evil labyrinth A.I. has set to destroy your humans. Trials include zombies, robots, and starvation among many other things. This game will have early access on Oct 14th, 2021 and there is now available a smaller version as a part of a contest.
Hello Neighbor 2
A stealth horror lets the player try and escape from an evil killer’s house as you unlock the puzzle of what’s going on in the town. This is probably the most anticipated game of this event with Hello Neighbor having its own animated show and the previous game’s popularity.
Can you get out without getting caught? Hello Neighbor 2 offers a very interesting and engaging art style and should be exciting to play when it’s released sign up to play the early alpha if you are already looking forward to it.
Tinykin
Play as an inch-high explorer trapped in a house trapped in time in the 90s. Along with your Tinykin allies, you can explore the puzzles and mysteries of the strange house on earth. Milo can ride a soap skateboard and float in a soap bubble or use Tinykins to get around. There are varying different types of Tinykins allowing for different feats to be performed. Discover the Artifacts that tell the story of how the house was frozen in the 90s and who used to live there. This game comes to PC and Consoles summer of 2022.
The Bookwalker
This interesting game allows players to dive into multiple different books discovering mysteries and objects to unlock what is truly going on. The player is also able to jump back into the real world and grab things from the real world that may help in the storybooks. While in the real world players can also do some errands around the house if they so choose. The Devs who also brought you The Final Station would love your feedback so feel free to check out their playtest that is now live on Steam.
