TROPICO 6 New Dev Diary Outlines Game Features

Ridgewood, New Jersey – This Friday, El Presidente makes his triumphant return, as Tropico 6, the latest installment in the critically acclaimed Tropico franchise, launches globally on Windows PC and Linux (Mac version to follow soon). In anticipation of the launch, El Presidente’s faithful aide Penultimo has been busy creating a new video featurette where developer Limbic Entertainment talk about how it worked to improve on the series and in particular build upon the success of Tropico 5 while keeping true to Tropico’s core values.

So, sit back, relax and let developer Limbic Entertainment take you on a journey of Tropico 6’s development and the great new features awaiting you on Friday’s official launch.

There’s still time for budding dictators to pre-order their copy of Tropico 6 either digitally or as a boxed retail edition. The special ‘El Prez Edition’ of Tropico 6 comes with a wealth of bonus goodies to spice up your Tropican vacation, while there are also two mouthwatering digital pre-order options. The Standard Edition is available with a 10% discount and direct access to the beta, while the specialEl Prez Edition also comes with a 10% discount and immediate beta access, but also adds some special in-game content (a tourist outfit for El Prez and a Flamingo Pond for the presidential palace), the digital soundtrack and a fabulous digital calendar.
 
Included in the retail boxed version are two tourist outfits for your Presidente, an exclusive flamingo pond palace design, a digital soundtrack of foot-tapping Tropican beats and a digital calendar to mark off the days until election day. Just what any budding Dictator needs on their journey to greatness.

Tropico 6 is scheduled for a worldwide release on Windows PC and Linux on March 29, 2019 (Mac version to follow soon), with console versions set to follow in summer 2019 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
