Now released, “Ascent Into Chaos” enhances the Indian Ocean with several additional features:
-
Players can upgrade their equipment in powerful new ways with the new Item Ascension feature, which increases base damage and adds special modifications that affect gameplay. Players can further improve Ascended Items by purchasing materials and silver from nearby vendors, customizing each weapon and loadout to fit their desired playstyle and particular maritime combat situations.
-
World Tiers, which begin with World Tier 2 in Season 1, are optional degrees of difficulty for various challenges in the world. Better rewards, like as stronger Ascended weaponry, are dropped in higher tiers of the world hierarchy.
-
Additionally, The Helm endgame experience is being updated. The ability to manufacture crafting materials at their own factories will allow players to supply the necessary goods for strength growth. With new benefits and enhancements, the new Helm Upgrade Tree will give players the freedom to customize their Empire however they see fit. Additionally, Pieces of Eight and Manufactory levels will not be adjusted until this last season.
-
Mid-season will see the release of Death Tides, a brand-new PvP team-based mode. Players can choose from a variety of pre-built ships, such as the Pyroclast, Stormwall, and Paladin, or they can employ their own unique loadout. To aid in triumph, special powers will also be accessible, such as calling forth the terrifying Kuharibu or launching destructive La Peste Mortars. Brimstone, Sanctuary, Sunken Ruins, and Mukiti Falls are the four distinct maps where Death Tides battles are played. All in-game items and experience points are transferred to the main game and Smuggler Pass.
-
Quality of Life improvements feature:

This Faction War will advance over the remainder of Year 2 with fresh features, story components, and enhancements:
-
Season 2: The Frigate, Skull and Bones’ first playable huge ship, will be unveiled in Oaths of War. Players will be able to deal more deadly firepower thanks to the additional weapon ports it will offer. The ongoing conflict in the Indian Ocean will have escalated after the DMC has successfully gained control of a Compagnie Royale Megafort following the events of Season 1. Each side offers special advantages at the expense of creating a formidable new foe, forcing players to choose one. Which faction wins at the end of the season will depend on the alliances and collective player activities.
-
Season 3:As the fight continues, Guts and Glory presents a new danger. Taking advantage of the escalating strife, the Rogue Warlord traffics weapons and captures officers with expertise. Any officer the player rescues can be assigned to their ship, and each one will provide special benefits like faster sailing, more damage, and repair perks. Another eagerly anticipated addition to Skull and Bones will be land combat this season. More about this will be revealed as the new season approaches.
-
Season 4: A mythical beast will emerge from the depths as Eye of the Beast comes to a close. The Sea People will give up their neutrality and call forth a fierce Kraken to cleanse the oceans since they are fed up with the consequences of the conflict. Players can unlock the Corvette, a new playable huge ship, to aid in the fight against the Kraken. The Hunter’s Guild, which will enable players to become proficient hunters of marine life, will also be included in Eye of the Beast.
