An intriguing preview of UNKNOWN 9: AWAKENING, the story-driven action-adventure game based on the original IP, was released by Reflector Entertainment. Christoper Rossignol, Creative Director at Reflector, is featured in the developer walkthrough trailer. He offers an in-depth analysis of gameplay and highlights Haroona’s various fighting styles and skills. The enigmatic Quaestor Haroona, played by British actress Anya Chalotra, was born with the capacity to pull power from another realm. She is on a mission to preserve humanity and avenge the death of her master.
The developer discusses exploration and various combat playstyles in the trailer, ranging from the most covert stealth to the most explosive and destructive. They also demonstrate how to effectively utilize the stepping mechanic, which allows Haroona to control her enemies and position them strategically to gain the upper hand in combat. Along with showing off some of the early game abilities that can be unlocked during a player’s playthrough, the video also highlights some of the locations in Haroona’s terrifying journey, which will transport players to far-off places like the Mauritius desert and the dense Indian jungles. This gives viewers a fresh look at this exciting adventure.
