Warhammer Vermintide Series Celebrates 5-Year Anniversary this Week

All Things 5 During the 5 Days of the 5 Year Anniversary

Independent developer Fatshark is proud to announce that the award-winning and multi-million selling Warhammer Vermintide series celebrates its five year anniversary on October 23.

Five Spectacular Years

Time flies like an arrow, fruit flies like a banana. It’s been five years since we released the first Vermintide game on October 23, 2015, and we are happy to celebrate the fifth birthday with all gamers across the world. As we’re working from home, the cake has to wait, but we’re staying safe and playing Vermintide 2.

All Things Five

During the five year celebrations we are really milking the number five, just look below for some of the things we’re highlighting.

  • 5 Heroes
  • 5 Million Players*
  • 5 Dollar Five Year Anniversary Packs
  • 5 x 15% Discount on Vermintide 2**
  • 555,555,555 Enemy Elimination Community Challenge

* = It’s really 8 million players, but it messed up the communications…
** = 75% Off, had to make it all about the five again.

“What a ride! I can’t believe that it’s been five years since we released the first Vermintide game.” says Martin Wahlund, CEO Fatshark. “I want to thank everybody that has been playing since day one, or even earlier via betas, and at the same time invite everyone to join us for the five-year celebrations.”
