Tune in right here tomorrow, May 10th, starting at 6:45pm ET / 3:45pm PT / 12:45pm CEST as the public radio show Intelligence Squared U.S. holds a debate from NYC on the motion “VIDEO GAMES WILL MAKE US SMARTER.”
Video game industry veteran Asi Burak and Daphne Bavelier, an internationally-recognized expert on how humans learn, argue for that motion. Debating against them are psychiatrist Elias Aboujaoude, who specializes in behavioral addictions, and Professor Walter R. Boot, who writes about technology-based interventions involving digital games.
These four individuals will debate both the brain science of how video games affect an individual as well video games’ broader impacts on society, including the latest developments in virtual reality.
I'm a published author and proud US Army veteran who happens to be a gamer, so I decided to combine the two and love every minute of it! Feel free to contact me with any questions or comments and I'll be sure to get back to you.
