WHAT THE GOLF? Reaches Funding Goal on FIG, Releases SUPERPUTT Course

Triband Games are pleased to announce that their dream of making golf fun is one step closer to reality today as they met their crowdfunding target for their upcoming PC title WHAT THE GOLF? on Fig. To celebrate the milestone, they’ve released an official SUPER HOT crossover course called SUPERPUTT in the free playable prototype of What The Golf?.

WHAT THE GOLF? Is a silly physics-based golf parody game where every hole is a new surprising type of golf, some brilliant or hilarious, others are absurd, and at least one is a bit like real golf probably. It’s deceptively complicated and endlessly simple. Just the opposite of real golf.

The free playable prototype demo includes a selection of genuine WHAT THE GOLF? brand golf variants, SUPER PUTT and a Clustertruck crossover course called CLUSTERPUTT. It will be updated to include levels inspired by two other games as the crowdfunding campaign goes on, but which games those will be is still top secret. Since according to themselves every game is golf, this is no challenge at all for the courageous devs at Triband.

What The Golf? Features:

  • More than 50 surprising golf mechanics including, but not limited to:
    • Spider Golf
    • House Golf
    • FPS Golf
    • Golf
    • Portal Golf
    • Platformer Golf
    • First Person Golf
    • Golf vs Evil
    • Rouge-like golf
    • Cat golf
    • And many more!
  • Will NOT make you a better golf player but might make you a better person
  • Made by people who know nothing about golf and are very attractive
  • Finally a game brave enough to use the word golf as a verb!
