Greetings players and welcome to the magical land of World of Kings, a thrilling new MMORPG mobile game where players embark on quests, battle against evil foes, and form alliances with fellow players to complete dangerous journeys. In this fantastical land, it goes without saying life is far from reality. Adapting their very own persona and integrating themselves in an enchanting world, players explore a land with endless possibilities but, beware indulgent players, you might be in trouble! This microtransaction heavy game might send you in the red.
Customization is endless and I’m not just talking about appearance! With a total of four races and nine classes to choose from, players are able to choose a character that fits their exact preferences! Queuing up with other players was difficult since I was playing during the release time. This prevented me from seeing large portions of the game which was extremely disappointing. After all, I couldn’t participate in some of the most active portions of the game such as dungeons or general multiplayer tasks but I have faith after the release, when there are hordes of people playing, it will be much better!
Beware of the microtransactions! If you are someone who gets hooked on a game and spends money World of Kings might not be the game for you. Although there are many gifts you can receive, you might have to make some purchases in order to succeed in this game. For instance, purchasing crystals with real, US currency was a major problem for me. But, do not be deterred, daily lottery, sign-in gifts, and more can provide what you do not get you’ll simply have to save up to purchase what you need!
Whether you’re performing them manually or on auto, movements are fluid and smooth. Loong Entertainment even provides a manual-to-auto mode which allows the player to select and lock the desired direction. When traveling long distances, I highly suggest trying this out. Despite the entertainment behind manually controlling your character -especially when they are transformed into different creatures- there are some cases when you have to put World of Kings on autoplay due to the lack of clarity. Even with the indicators on the screen I felt lost as if there was a lack of information. Numerous times I had to ask myself, Where do I go next? Who do I talk to next? It would have been appreciated if there was a bit more guidance when trying to complete an objective!
Talent and skill upgrades are a unique addition to the game, giving players an extra boost in battle! These provide players the opportunity to allocate points to different areas for increases in areas such as attack! Just like themselves, as their characters level up, so will their foes. At one point I found myself come face to face with an enemy that brought me to minimum health in nearly one blow. That’s when I noticed I’d forgotten to allocate my points! So, be sure to pay attention and upgrade your points when you can!
I don’t want to dissuade players from getting World of Kings simply because of microtransactions and a lack of available gameplay. It’s important to note that I was unable to play a major portion of the game because it wasn’t unlocked to me so, upon release, I believe we’re going to see a whole new side of Loong Entertainment’s latest mobile MMORPG! The single-player quests I participated in were engaging, addictive, and I cannot wait until June 1st so I can begin playing again. Additionally, it’s evident the main storyline, as well as every side quest, have been clearly thought out and always made me excited to see what was next! I do not dismiss this game and if you have a clan looking for a new game to play, lock up your wallet and head over to your app store on June 1st, Loong Entertainment’s World of Kings might be 2019’s hottest mobile fantasy MMORPG.

My name is Haylee, but everyone calls me "Haylz". Gaming has been a passion of mine since my grandma bought me The Sims for PC and my love for gaming flourished from there. Currently, I'm a Senior studying English at Texas A&M University- Corpus Christi and spend most of my time gaming and leading my school through collegiate competitions as President of the eSports club! Despite being a dedicated vegetarian, my favorite games tend to be First Person Shooters and I'm naturally drawn to blood and gore! Chances are, if you can kill in it, I'll play it... I just won't eat it (unless it's a Fallout perk)!
