The 2D action-platforming rogue-lite game, The Rogue Prince of Persia, is now available for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox Cloud, and Xbox on PC for Game Pass users, as announced by Ubisoft and partner studio Evil Empire during Xbox @ gamescom Broadcast: Live From the Showfloor today. Additionally, the game is available on the PlayStation 5 and Windows PC via the Epic Games Store, Steam, and Ubisoft Connect. Additionally, players can get the game by subscribing to Amazon Luna and Ubisoft+ on PC. Later this year, the game will be available on the Switch and Switch 2.

The game is now ready for all players to enjoy after more than a year of early access, more than 15 significant updates that incorporate community feedback, a completely revamped color scheme and art direction, a variety of new biomes, weapons, and trinkets, and an enhanced metaprogression. The Rogue Prince of Persia, which takes place in a gorgeously reimagined Persian country, combines difficult parkour, a compelling story of redemption, and elegant, acrobatic fighting. As players try to correct a deadly error that doomed their people, they must traverse arbitrarily created levels, discover secrets, and encounter new characters. Every run presents fresh chances to change and develop, creating a distinct playstyle via investigation and learning. Players can alter their build to suit their needs and playstyle by unlocking and mastering more than 100 weapons and medallions. Being agile is crucial for survival; wall-running, avoiding traps, and chaining fashionable combinations are all necessary. Players must alter fate, save Persia, or perish trying to reach the real conclusion of this epic tale.

To the beat of a gripping, engrossing music, players will battle their way through a constantly shifting universe. The Complete OST, which has been signed by Persian-American Electronic Music Producer and Performance Artist ASADI, will be accessible on all streaming services as well as Ubisoft Music’s YouTube channel on August 22. In addition to the Part 1 that was released in 2024, the Complete Edition includes 13 additional tracks. At a later time, fans of ASADI’s blend of contemporary and traditional Persian sonorities will also have the opportunity to pre-order the vinyl version of the OST on their partner store, Laced Records.
