VTuber Melios the Android hosted GLITCH’s Future Of Play Direct, a celestial games expo, in its fifth year this past Saturday. The 45-minute program, which was aired on Twitch, YouTube, and Steam as part of the Summer Game Fest weekend schedule, had 32 exciting new game announcements, demo releases, trailer premieres, and more from international creators. The Future Of Play Direct program contains all of the announcements, and those who were unable to see the presentation can now watch it on GLITCH’s YouTube channel.
Highlighting Future Of Play Direct were four never-before-seen game announcements: the story-driven roleplaying deck-builder Sandara: City of a Thousand Eclipses (Studio Malosi), the card-battling roleplaying game Battle Suit Aces (Trinket Studios), the town-building sim Croakwood (Texel Raptor), and the dance battle adventure All Systems Dance (Mighty Yell Studios). Along with news, gameplay, and music for titles like ALZARA Radiant Echoes, Nova Hearts, and Slay the Princess, the showcase also included a preview of 10 brand-new demos that are currently playable on Steam. Additionally, in-game partnerships with Cozy Marbles and Dungeon Clawler were showcased; both partnerships are already available in the demonstrations.
