Roll20, the largest virtual tabletop, is beginning celebrations today for the seventh annual Roll20Con by partnering with publisher Hunters Entertainment to give users a digital copy of the award-winning game, Alice is Missing. The virtual event runs throughout October and will feature streams, sales, and more giveaways throughout the month, culminating in a celebration on the weekend of October 21st to October 23rd.
Roll20Con is a celebration of Roll20 and the wider tabletop role playing game (TTRPG) community. Over the course of October, the online community comes together to roll their way through new campaigns, play with friends, chat with new party members, watch roleplay
streams, and hear the latest Roll20 product updates providing a look at the future of the virtual tabletop platform. You especially won’t want to miss Aabria Iyengar run DMsGuild’s The Secrets of Skyhorn Lighthouse for Mica Burton, Brennan Lee Mulligan, Becca Scott, and special guest Travis McElroy, streaming live on October 21 at 2:00 PM PT HERE.
This year, Roll20 is partnering with RollvsEvil, a newly formed nonprofit created by a group of TTRPG companies and board game companies to give gaming communities a way to do what they love while supporting frontline charitable efforts to battle real world evil. Their first initiative is providing aid to organizations on the ground in Ukraine. Proceeds from the Roll20Con shirt sales will go to support RollvsEvil, as will 25% of all Marketplace sales on Saturday, October 22. Players can learn more about RollvsEvil, donate, and buy shirts HERE.
“Every year we aim to deliver a fun event for Roll20 players while fundraising for a cause we believe in,” said Amber Cook, Director of Marketing for Roll20. “This year, we’re delivering the biggest Roll20Con yet – we have nine digital game giveaways for the community over the next few weeks, beautifully produced liveplay content, sales, and many open games with the community and professional GMs for players.”
