Publisher and developer of mobile games, Netmarble Corp, has revealed its third-quarter 2024 financial results. This quarter, the business made $478.60 million in revenue, $75.99 million in EBITDA worldwide, $48.43 million in operating profit, and $15.22 million in net profit.
Young-sig Kwon, CEO of Netmarble said, “Netmarble has slowed down in its growth, including revenue and operating income, in the third quarter due to the absence of major new releases. We are expecting an increase in momentum as we launch King Arthur: Legends Rise by the end of this year, with nine new titles, including highly anticipated games like The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin, to be released in 2025. Netmarble’s Q3 and accumulated 2024 financial results:
- Cumulatively for 2024, Netmarble earned $1.49 billion in sales and $219.26 million in EBITDA, reporting an operating profit of $133.38 million and a net profit of $127.91 million.
- North America led revenues (43%) with diversification across other key territories as follows: Korea (23%), Europe (13%), Southeast Asia (8%), and Japan (7%), and other regions (6%).
- Netmarble’s portfolio showed diversification across various genres, including Casual Games (39%), RPG (38%), MMORPG (15%), and other genres (8%).
- Top performing titles for the third quarter included: Solo Leveling: ARISE (13%), Marvel Contest of Champions (8%), Jackpot World (8%), Lotsa Slots (7%), Cash Frenzy (7%), Raven2 (6%), The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross (4%), and Arthdal Chronicles: Three Factions (3%).
