The game Blooming Business: Casino is a game that is planned to be coming out some time in 2023 this year. This game is a tycoon game developed by Homo Ludens and published by Curve Games where you get to design, build and run your very own casino and take it from something small to a huge success, along with a dramatic story. Tycoon games are ok for me. I have tried out some, but I do not care too much about them. From what I have played of tycoon games, however, I would say that this game is headed toward the right direction, leaving me with a great first impression.
Gameplay
The gameplay for Blooming Business: Casino is simple. Like any tycoon game, the player has one goal in mind, for their business to become a success. In this game, the player will do the same for their casino. To do this, they will have to keep many different things in mind, such as how many workers they will need, the condition of the casino, the different activities the customers can do, the condition of the customers, and other things. For the different tasks that need to be done, the player will need to hire workers that can handle different parts of the casino. They will need dealers to handle certain activities, custodians to handle the condition of the casino, etc. However, each worker has different attributes and skills to them, so before the player can’t just hire any worker they first see. The player needs to make sure the worker they are hiring is the right worker for the job. This is something I really like about the game. It makes sure that the player is not just hiring any worker they come across because, like a real business, the employer would want to hire someone who they feel is the right fit for the job.
The next thing the player would have to worry about is how many activities are available in the casino. The main activities the player can add are slot machines and poker tables. There are also other different, smaller activities, but slot machines and poker tables I found to be used the most. These activities are how the player will make most of their money, so planning out and buying what activities they need to have is very important. Finally, the player must also keep in mind the condition of their customers. After interacting with many of the different activities the casino has to offer, the customers will get tired. When that happens, it is the job of the player to make sure there are different areas where the customers can rest, otherwise the customers may leave. There are many ways the player can set this up. For one, they can have different places where the customers can sit down and rest. Another can be an area for beverages where the customers can rest at. I also like this part of the game because, like a normal business, the company would normally want to keep the customers happy, so adding a mechanic where the player has to check on the condition of customers gives more for the player to check.
Final thoughts
Overall, I believe the game Blooming Business: Casino is headed toward the right direction in development. The developers are creating a tycoon game with many mechanics that I believe many tycoon game players will enjoy. Overall, I believe that if you enjoy tycoon games, as well as a dramatic story to go along with it, then I recommend getting this game. Blooming Business: Casino can be played on Steam when it comes out 2023 this year.
