Dead by Daylight Mobile Announces the Cursed Legacy Chapter

Montreal, Canada—August 19, 2020— Behaviour Interactive, Canada’s largest independent development studio, is proud to announce the arrival of the Cursed Legacy Chapter to its hit asymmetrical 4v1 multiplayer mobile horror game, Dead by Daylight, next week.

Inspired by the samurai, The Cursed Legacy Chapter features a new Killer: The Oni. Cruel and insatiable, the Oni was once trained by his father, a legendary samurai, in the way of the warrior. But lacking honor and having had an unforgiving need to kill and torture, he was recruited by The Entity to fulfill his nefarious destiny, kanabō and katana in hand.

The newest Survivor to step into the fog is Yui Kimura. Having been raised in the purest Japanese tradition, Yui ran against her father’s wishes and became one of Japan’s best street racers. Clad in her signature pink suit, she took a wrong turn through the fog one evening, never to be seen again.

Coming next week and in addition to these thrilling new characters mobile players will also have access to the new and improved Crotus Prenn Asylum – a Realm in Dead by Daylight comprised of two maps: Disturbed Ward and Father Campbell’s Chapel. Both lighting and textures have been reworked on mobile to improve gameplay and the player’s overall experience.

Finally, mobile players will also have access to the new Summer Camp collection which features brand new outfits for Dwight Fairfield, Meg Thomas, The Nurse and The Trapper.

Dead by Daylight is a 4v1 multiplayer horror game in which one crazed killer hunts four friends through a terrifying nightmare. In a deadly game of cat and mouse, players can take on the role of iconic killers such as Michael Myers, Freddy Krueger, or a Demogorgon from Netflix’s Stranger Things. Dead by Daylight Mobile is fully optimized and offers the same gameplay and modes that fans enjoy, with new controls and experience carefully crafted for smartphones and tablets.
