Join the One Million ARKS Celebration and be Rewarded with Special Boosts, Login Rewards, and Raffle Entries
Tokyo – SEGA has announced their popular free-to-play online action RPG, Phantasy Star Online 2 (Global), has surpassed one million registered players following a successful launch on Xbox One (Check Out Our Review!) and PC in North America earlier this year, then launching in 33 more nations and territories and on the Steam platform this month.
“The teams have worked so hard to bring PSO2 to players around the world this year and I couldn’t be prouder of their efforts,” announced Fred White, Head of Marketing at PSO Team Global. “Launching worldwide has been a dream come true for all of us. Surpassing a million registered players this month is a good feeling, and we’ve got so much more in store for the game in the future to look forward to!”
To celebrate the achievement, SEGA is hosting the “One Million ARKS Celebration” in the game. Activities will run until Aug. 26th. For a limited time, EXP, Rare Drop, and Rare Enemy Spawn Rates will all be increased +100%! What’s more, all players will have the opportunity to receive up to 2 Million EXP through EXP Tickets. And players who log in for more than five days during the event period will be entered into a drawing to win 10,000 AC, 1,000 SG, or 10 AC Scratch Tickets. There will be 100 randomly selected winners for each prize.

Phantasy Star Online 2 players are invited to join together online to explore numerous worlds with friends and experience PSO2’s unparalleled action combat and character customization. Choosing from four unique races and nine classes, players can join forces with up to eleven other operatives at a time to experience unforgettable battles and boss fights.
The global version of Phantasy Star Online 2 includes fully localized text and character voices in English. In addition to the immersive original PSO2 story, the global version also features the most-up-to-date balancing and quality-of-life improvements from the Japanese service. Players can take a break from questing by playing one of the many Casino mini-games, chilling in the Alliance Quarters, competing in the new ARKS League or attending all-new live stage events. And they can do all of this with friends on both PC and Xbox One thanks to cross-platform play.
