LOS ANGELES – SQUARE ENIX has announced that DRAGON QUEST XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age and DRAGON QUEST XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age – Definitive Edition together have surpassed 5.5 million copies shipped and downloaded worldwide on the PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system, STEAM, Nintendo 3DS, and Nintendo Switch. Heralded by critics and fans alike as a modern classic, the game has captured the hearts of players with its striking art style, charming characters and memorable storyline.
DRAGON QUEST series creator and game designer Yuji Horii commented on the latest milestone:
