Funktronic Labs is coming out with an amazing, fun to play sports game called Wave Break. Wave Break is all about grinding your boat all over the waves and other structures. The game was extremely fun when we tried the hands-on demo at the IndieCade booth during E3 2019.
Wave Break is inspired by classic arcade skateboarding games, where in the level you can grind through, jump over the heights of the buildings, and attempt stunts. Wave Break will have a bunch of customization options including different boats, characters, and tricks as well. In addition, there are going to be a local split-screen and online multiplayer options available. The game features modes including Trick Attack, where you keep collecting points, or Death Match, where you shoot out your friends. In the future, the game will come with in-game events for additional rewards and titles.
Wave Break will come out this year for PC via Steam.
