Ahead of the official release of the video game, Electronic Arts presents “The 10 Racers,” a star-studded virtual race on Formula One 24 that will kick off one of the most anticipated race weekends of the Formula One calendar. Charles Leclerc of Scuderia Ferrari and Alex Albon of William Racing will compete against famous F1® fans on the Circuit de Monaco in Monte Carlo. These fans include Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Diogo Jota, two of the world’s best football players, as well as content creators WillNE, Chesnoid, MaximeMXM, Liam Kalevi, AverageF1Consumer, and ElReyGuiri.
The stream will only be available on the Formula 1 YouTube channel on Wednesday, May 22 at 19:00 BST (20:00 CEST, 11:00 PDT). The 10 Racers, which kicks off race week and hopes to build on the popularity of last season’s Las Vegas Showrun, is hosted by Sky Sports presenter Naomi Schiff and P1’s Matt Gallagher. The show will definitely get all F1® fans excited for the weekend. Competitors will gain from the realistic and predictable performance, equipped with the confidence to take on the challenging 3.337km street circuit and bid to make a move when the time is right, as F1® 24 showcases its new EA SPORTS Dynamic Handling.
Lee Mather, Senior Creative Director at Codemasters stated, “The 10 Racers brings together the best of Formula 1 talent with a mix of celebrity fans to deliver a fun-packed race evening to kick off our F1 24 launch celebrations. F1 24 is the most authentic Formula 1 game to date, and our challengers will get the chance to step inside the paddock and feel like one of the 20 when the lights go out.”
A variety of new-season F1 team liveries are instantly available to drivers who pre-order the digitally exclusive F1 24 Champions Edition*, which they can employ in F1 23’s Time Trial.
