A bleak world where faith and science meet is the setting for the party-based souls-like game Deathbound. You must make ties with fallen warriors you come across on your journey in order to defy Death because you cannot survive alone. To take control of the harsh continent of Ziêminal, you’ll be able to move between characters with ease thanks to a flexible 4-hero party system in the middle of battle. The secret to winning is to make the most of each warrior’s special abilities and fighting strategies.
Character interactions have a significant impact on gameplay, affecting decisions and status consequences. Members of the competing Church of Death and Cult of Life will align, creating strife that will have a major impact on combat. On the other hand, allying fighters who hold similar values might grant you strong fighting advantages and help you vanquish persistent foes. The fallen must unite in combat despite their differences. You can unleash a deadly Morphstrike that combines the strengths of your party by charging a shared sync meter. This is an essential strategy for defeating strong opponents.
Deathbound has two special editions available for purchase in addition to the base game, which is available for $29.99 / €29.99. The Cult of Life Deluxe Edition, which is only available on PC, costs $32.99 / €32.99 and comes with an artbook, the soundtrack, Deathbound, and the Legacy of Ziêminal Skins. The Church of Death Ultimate Edition is available for $34.99 / €34.99 on both consoles and PC. Everything from the Deluxe Edition is included in the Ultimate Edition, along with access to the anticipated post-launch DLC for Accepted By Death.
