Sports Interactive and SEGA have unveiled the headline features for Football Manager 2021, launching November 24th on the Epic Games Store and Steam.
Managers will enjoy more control than ever over their team’s success on and off the pitch with new gameplay systems, an increased level of analysis and information and additional resources at their disposal.
Interactions with players and the media have been overhauled to create a more true-to-life experience and matchdays look and feel more spectacular with a host of graphical and presentation improvements as well as new pre-and post-match events. Additionally, managers will have more power over player recruitment and new ways to celebrate success at the end of the season.
The developers have published four blogs that cover each of the headline areas in full detail on the Football Manager website.
This marks the start of a series of feature drops over the coming weeks. From today until early November, the devs will be releasing further features on the Football Manager social channels (including Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram) as well as Sports Interactive Studio Director, Miles Jacobson’s own channels (including Twitter and Instagram).
Sega will also be producing several blogs that offer deep dives into some of the most significant enhancements across the game including the match AI, improved newgen faces and data analysis.
Fans who pre-purchase Football Manager 2021 (for PC and Mac), from a SEGA approved digital retailer* up until launch will receive a 10% discount. They will also have the chance to kick-off their managerial career ahead of schedule with Early Access to FM21. Early Access will be available roughly two weeks prior to the official street date and single player careers started in that period can be carried across to the final game.
