Today, game developer InnoGames launched a new TV campaign in the U.S. for the strategy hit, Forge of Empires. The company, which is consistently among the gaming industry’s top five TV ad spenders in the U.S., has begun placing the spots on Comedy Central, ESPN, Spike, FXX, History, FOX and MTV Live, to name a few. The 30-second-long CGI trailer focuses on the trading aspect of the game and how it evolves throughout history. It was specifically made into several interchangeable “mini spots”, which can be rearranged in various ways for A/B testing purposes.
Forge of Empires is a cross-platform strategy game (playable on browser, iOS and Android) in which players, tasked with leading a city to prosperity, can research new technologies, build impressive historical buildings and enlarge their sphere of influence through military campaigns and skillful dealings.
